Conny L’ Abée loves to make people smile with her fat ladies in bright colors, who are enjoying life to the utmost.

She also makes vintage oil portraits of movie stars from the fifties and sixties, mostly in sepia colors.

Venetian masks and Pierrots are returning elements too, in which you can recognize her love for Italy.

She lives in Belgium but is of Dutch nationality.

She has followed different art educations, among others the art academy of Turnhout and had exhibitions in several European cities like London, Malmö, Kopenhagen and Antwerp.
